Medical support

Back to the Bible Truth runs numerous community clinics to serve the health needs of people in remote or underserviced areas and serve as an evangelistic tool to share Jesus' love.

Tupendane supports the clinic/hospital at Mate which is about a 2 hour drive from Kampala. The BBT runs the clinic and serves the surrounding area with medical care and regular free community focus clinic events are also promoted.

Funding is required to provide for the doctors and nurses as well as important medical supplies and medications to support the clinics.

Costs to support the clinic include monthly wages for medical personnel including:

  • Doctor - $700 monthly

  • Nurse - $415 monthly

  • Midwife - $485 monthly

Additionally the clinic is working to increase services to advance to a higher level of clinic complete with an operating room. Tupendane is currently in process of working with the BBT to determine equipment required and associated costs.

Tupendane is committed to assisting the BBT with its farming endeavors. This assistance has included providing many pieces of farm equipment over the past 20 years as well as ongoing advice on equipment maintenance/repair and supplying necessary parts not available in Uganda.

The combine is an critical piece of equipment and the one in Uganda is in need of replacement.

Tupendane is currently researching appropriate replacement options.
